WORD using 25% CPU

After performing an un-install and re-install of Office 2003, the suite started running very slow on launch and exit. Task Manager also showed WORD using 25% CPU on startup when its normally only showing 1-2% CPU.

A FileMon trace showed winword.exe looking for files SRINTL.DLL and WDWPH10.CHM, these are valid office 2003 file but were not installed.

Filenet Viewer had been installed before office re-install. Removal of Filenet Viewer corrected the problems with the office suite. Re-installing Filenet Viewer again then did not impact office. So be warned install filenet viewer after MS office.
