Protocol Driver Error on application launch
We had reports that some users were receiving the following error message
A scan of the number of connection on all servers showed an suspicious server with no connections. Closer inspection of this server showed it had no ICA listener displaying in the AMC console. Also telnet on port 1494 to the server failed. The event log of the server had a large number of the following messages
Event ID 118
Unable to connect to the CGP Tunnel destination (127.0.0.1:1494)
Solution
We simply restarted the server and it corrected the fault. If we needed to we were going to recreated the ICA listener which is detailed in the following Citrix Article CTX115152
